Stainless Steel is often associated with “professional” kitchens and has many benefits. Stainless Steel Countertops look great and require little maintenance, which makes it a popular surface in the modern home. In addition to being low-maintenance, stainless steel is one of the most hygienic surfaces available. This is especially beneficial in the kitchen, where remnants of food and cooking grease promote bacterial growth.
Stainless Steel Countertop’s reflective qualities make it the “universal neutral”, reflecting both natural and artificial light as well as any surrounding color hues. We also fabricate and install Stainless Steel Backsplashes and Stainless Steel Kitchen Island Countertops. Learn more about Stainless Steel
A new look for an old metal. Copper Countertops have been used for generations with good success and can offer a life time of enjoyment as well as a practical work surface. Copper is lovely to look at and a nice compliment to many decors. Copper Countertops provide an anti-microbial surface that is even superior to stainless steel. A copper “living” surface will change color over time depending on what it comes in contact with – most often it will go to shades of brown.
Our Stainless steel countertops are fabricated with premium grade 304 stainless steel with a brushed #4 finish. This finish is similar to typical stainless steel appliances. Other available finishes include matte, random grit, or custom patterns.
Our Copper countertops are fabricated with premium C110 copper. Typical finishes are natural bright or matte.
Edges are available in any thickness but 1½” is standard. The standard edge is square edge profile but we also offer bull-nose and marine (no drip) edges.
All joints are welded, ground, blended and polished unless otherwise specified.
For larger or “L” shaped tops, a welded or butted seam may be required. A shop welded seam is ground and polished to closely match the surrounding manufacturers finish. A butted seam is site installed with a caulked joint.
For typical countertop configurations a wood substrate is bonded to the underside which ensures a solid, structural core that will facilitate countertop installation to the cabinets.
Over time Stainless Steel countertops will “age” gathering minor scratches from objects sliding, rubbing, and dropping on the surface. This “aging” process will result in a consistent, attractive appearance with the durability that will last a life time.
Kitchen sinks can either be drop-in or integral weld-in style.
Drop-in style sinks can be supplied by the customer and the countertop will be cut-out to accommodate.
For welded integral sinks, we offer a selection of suitable sinks for this process. We also accept customer supplied sinks if they meet the welding criteria. After welding and polishing, the sink installation is seamless.
Sink faucets are supplied by the customer. While in the shop, the countertop is holed to accommodate the fixture.
